7/5/2024 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) — Suspected Islamic Fulani extremists stormed a Christian community the evening of Sunday, June 30, in Chawai Chiefdom of Kauru LGA of Kaduna State and killed an older woman and her two grandchildren.
Those killed in Loh village were Jummai Simon, 6; Sarah Simon, 15; and Jummai Aruwa, 75.
An area youth leader expressed sadness over the attack, adding that the attackers have been terrorizing them and threatening their existence with the sole aim of eliminating them all.
Southern Kaduna, a region in Kaduna state dominated by Christians, has experienced numerous attacks, killings, and kidnappings at the hands of Islamic extremists in recent years.
