10/28/2024 Malaysia (International Christian Concern) — The long-standing mystery surrounding the disappearance of Pastor Raymond Koh in 2017 has taken a significant turn.
A recent revelation by the chairman of a special task force investigating the case suggests that the incident was not a case of forced disappearance, as initially believed. Instead, it appears to be the work of rogue police officers acting independently.
“The task force finds that the disappearance of Pastor Raymond Koh is not enforced disappearance per ICP, whereby there was no denial by the government and police force in the disappearance or hiding of Koh …,” former STF chairperson Datuk Abdul Rahim Uda said.
The case’s main suspect has been Saiful Bahari Abd Aziz, a former police officer. The task force report also implicated other police officers and raised concerns about the official investigation’s lack of diligence and transparency.
The task force expressed dissatisfaction with the police investigation, highlighting its lack of urgency and professionalism in pursuing the case.
