11/1/2024 Southeast Asia (International Christian Concern) — Christians of all ages need access to God’s Word.
With this in mind, International Christian Concern (ICC) staff provided large-print Bibles to elderly Christians in a Muslim-majority nation in Southeast Asia. Believers in this country, including senior citizens, face daily pressure for their faith in Jesus.
They must have their own Bible in their language to help them grow in their faith and withstand the pressures they face for their faith.
ICC delivered the large-print Bibles to elderly Christians who live in a challenging region of their country, where it is difficult to reach Christians of any age.
“By God’s grace and will, this opportunity emerged, and we could undertake this one small project,” an ICC staffer said. “We hope that we can, with the generosity of ICC’s donors, invest in more projects in this risky part of this country in the future, especially as we anticipate persecution to increase even more in the area. Supporting these senior Christians gives us a chance to live out 1 Timothy 5:1,2 by treating these older men as fathers and the older women as mothers with absolute purity.”
