June 12, 2024 In Pakistan, there are roughly 20,000 Christians stuck in a cycle of modern-day slavery. They are essentially indentured servants who do back-breaking work in brick kilns and, due to the impossibly low wages, their children are often condemned to the same future.
Through your support, we have come alongside many families that have broken free from the bondage of the brick kilns and equipped them with their own small businesses. Often, this looks like a rickshaw that they can use as a taxi or delivery service to support their families with dignity.
